E William Watercolors is a unique watercolor art studio created by a husband-and-wife team, Will and Beverly. The couple met in 2022 while residing at Southern Oaks Nursing and Rehab, where Will first uncovered his talent as a watercolor artist. After they married in 2023, they transitioned to independent living, allowing both Will and Beverly to explore their distinctive artistic expressions.
At 77, Beverly began learning under Will’s mentorship during their time at the nursing home. She continues to grow as an artist through his experience and guidance. For her, creating unique watercolor art is a deeply relaxing and immersive experience, where she finds solace and freedom in the flow of creativity.
Will, an 82-year-old disabled veteran, discovered a new chapter in life through watercolor. His artistic journey started at the nursing home when he picked up a brush and experienced the quiet joy of color blooming on paper. What began as a simple pastime evolved into a passionate expression of beauty, memory, and meaning.
Sharing his watercolor art with others brings him immense joy. Whether connecting with neighbors, online friends, or fellow veterans, he believes that art should be seen, felt, and remembered. Each piece he creates reflects his gratitude for the places he's been, the people he's encountered, and the God-given grace of second chances.
